Connect Stripe

Connect your Stripe account to accept payments for job postings.

Stripe handles all payment processing for your job board. Once connected, employers can pay for job postings and subscriptions with credit cards, and payments go directly to your bank account.

Connect your Stripe account

  1. Go to Board settings in the sidebar, then click the Monetization tab
  2. Click Connect Stripe to enable payments
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe to log in or create an account
  4. Complete Stripe's onboarding (business type, address, tax ID, bank account, identity verification)
  5. Return to Cavuno

The button text changes to Continue onboarding if you started the process but haven't finished.

Onboarding status

After connecting, the Monetization tab shows three onboarding steps:

  • Payments enabled: your board can accept credit card payments
  • Onboarding completed: your business details have been verified
  • Payouts enabled: you can receive funds to your bank account

All three must show Complete before you can fully accept payments. If your account is under review, the status shows In review with a note that reviews typically take 24-48 hours.

Disconnect Stripe

  1. Go to Board settings > Monetization tab
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the action

Disconnecting removes the connection to your Stripe account. You will not be able to accept payments until you reconnect. Existing subscriptions managed through Stripe are not affected by disconnecting.

After connecting

Once Stripe is connected and onboarding is complete, the rest of the Monetization tab becomes active. You can create pricing plans, set up coupons, configure a job seeker paywall, and connect Google AdSense.
