Edit Company Profile

Update company information, logos, and details on your job board.

Company details change as employers rebrand, grow, or shift focus. Keeping profiles accurate helps candidates make informed decisions and ensures your board looks current and well-maintained.

Edit a company

  1. Click Companies in the sidebar
  2. Click the company name to open the edit form
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save changes

You can update any field: company name, slug, website, summary, description, logo, social links (X, LinkedIn, Facebook), and the auto-scrape setting.

Change the slug

The slug determines the company's public URL (yourboard.com/companies/[slug]). It's auto-generated from the company name when you first create the profile. You can edit it manually, but only use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

Changing the slug creates a new URL. The old URL will return a 404 unless you set up a 301 redirect. Only change slugs when necessary, especially if the existing URL is already indexed by search engines or linked from external sites.

Click the logo upload area and select a new image, or remove the existing one. If the company has a website URL, you can also let Cavuno attempt to re-fetch the logo automatically. Logos appear on job listings, the employer directory, and the company profile page, so using a high-quality, recognizable image makes a real difference in how professional your board looks.

Re-trigger enrichment

If a company profile is missing its summary, description, or social links, updating the website URL will re-trigger automatic enrichment. Enrichment only fills empty fields, so any content you've written manually stays intact.

Enable or disable backfilling

If the company has a website entered, you'll see an Automatically add jobs from this company checkbox. Check it to start importing jobs from the company's careers page. Uncheck it to stop. See Configure backfill for how backfilling works.

Delete a company

  1. Click the Delete button on the edit form (or use the three-dot menu in the companies list)
  2. Confirm the deletion

Deleting a company also deletes all jobs linked to it. This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep the jobs but remove the company profile from your directory, consider unpublishing the company instead of deleting it.
