What the Insight Tag enables

  • Conversion tracking: Measure which LinkedIn ads drive employer signups or job applications

  • Website demographics: See job titles, industries, and seniority levels of your visitors
  • Matched audiences: Create targeting segments based on pages visited

Get your Partner ID

  1. Sign in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  2. Click Analyze > Insight Tag in the left navigation
  3. Your Partner ID is displayed at the top (a numeric string like 1234567)

If you haven't created an Insight Tag yet, Campaign Manager walks you through setup.

Add to Cavuno

  1. Go to Board settings in the sidebar, then click the Analytics tab
  2. Paste your Partner ID in the LinkedIn Partner ID field
  3. Click Save changes

Cavuno installs the Insight Tag script on every page automatically.

Verify the installation

  1. Install the LinkedIn Insight Tag Helper Chrome extension
  2. Visit your job board
  3. The extension confirms the tag is firing with your Partner ID

Data appears in Campaign Manager within 24 hours.

Review website demographics

The Insight Tag unlocks a Website Demographics report in Campaign Manager showing:

  • Job titles of your visitors
  • Companies they work at
  • Industries they're in
  • Seniority levels
  • Company sizes

Use this data to verify you're reaching the right audience and refine your LinkedIn ad targeting.

When cookie consent is enabled in Cavuno, the LinkedIn Insight Tag only loads after visitors accept cookies. Your retargeting audiences will be smaller but privacy-compliant.
