Email Notifications

Your board sends two types of automated emails to job alert subscribers: confirmation emails and digest emails. Both are handled by Cavuno's email infrastructure and include your board name automatically.

Confirmation emails

Sent immediately when someone subscribes to job alerts. The subject line reads "Verify your email to start receiving job alerts from [your board name]."

The email contains a confirmation link that the subscriber must click to activate their subscription. Until they confirm, their status remains Pending confirmation and they receive no digests. If a subscriber loses this email, you can resend it from the Job alerts dashboard using the Resend confirmation action.

Weekly digest emails

Sent once per week to active subscribers when new jobs match their preferences. The subject line reads "Jobs from [your board name]."

Each digest contains a list of matching job postings with titles, company names, locations, and links to view and apply. The email also includes a link to the subscriber's management page where they can view preferences or unsubscribe. If no new jobs match a subscriber's filters during the week, no email is sent.

Unsubscribe handling

Every digest email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately stops all future emails for that subscriber and updates their status to Unsubscribed in your dashboard. This is handled automatically and ensures compliance with email regulations.
