Manage Job Alert Subscribers

View, search, export, and import your job alert subscriber list.

The Job alerts page in your sidebar shows all subscribers in a searchable table. Use it to monitor your list, troubleshoot delivery issues, and manage individual subscriptions.

View subscribers

Click Job alerts in the sidebar. The table shows five columns: Email, Status (Active, Pending confirmation, Waitlisted, or Unsubscribed), Preferences (a summary of their alert filters), Last digest (when their most recent digest was sent), and Created (when they subscribed).

Search subscribers

Type in the search box labeled Search by email or label to filter the list. Search matches against subscriber email addresses and alert names.

Subscriber actions

Click the action menu on any subscriber row to access these options:

  • Unsubscribe: stops all digests for this subscriber
  • Resubscribe: reactivates a previously unsubscribed subscriber
  • Resend confirmation: sends a new confirmation email to subscribers with Pending confirmation status

Export subscribers

Click Export CSV to download your full subscriber list as a CSV file. The export includes email addresses, subscription status, preferences, and timestamps. Use exports to import subscribers into email marketing tools, analyze your audience, or keep a backup of your list.

Import subscribers

Click Import to add subscribers from a CSV file. The import file should include these columns:

  • email: the subscriber's email address (required)
  • frequency: currently weekly is the only supported value
  • unsubscribed: true or false

Imported subscribers with new email addresses receive a confirmation email before they start getting digests. This ensures compliance with email consent requirements.

Why your subscriber list matters

Your subscriber list is a direct measure of your board's reach. A board with 5,000 engaged subscribers in a specific niche can command significantly higher job posting fees than one relying on anonymous traffic alone. When selling to employers, your subscriber count and engagement rate are concrete proof that their listing will reach qualified candidates.
